Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Let's Talk Coverage

Quick Garage Door Services provides a warranty for the installation of new garage doors, which covers defects in workmanship for labor provided by the franchisee for one (1) year from the date of installation. This warranty does not cover the door or its parts, as the garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty for those. However, if a part is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, Quick Garage Door Services will repair or replace that part at no charge for labor for up to one (1) year from the date of installation. Additionally, Quick Garage Door Services will correct any defective workmanship during the installation process.

Repair Work

This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for new and rebuilt parts furnished by Quick Garage Door Services as a part of a complete overhaul repair to an existing garage door. Quick Garage Door Services will repair any defective part or workmanship, or if repair is not feasible, replace the defective part or workmanship at no cost for materials.

How to Work With Us?

If you encounter an issue, please reach out to the Quick Garage Door Services franchisee who performed the repair or installation work for you.

How long does the coverage last?

The warranty period begins once the repairs or installation are completed and it is non-transferable. For repairs made to an existing garage door, the warranty remains valid for as long as the original customer owns the repaired garage door. For a complete overhaul repair or new garage door installation, the labor warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date of installation or repair. However, if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door, the warranty will be terminated.

In case of selecting the Partial Service Warranty option, the terms and conditions will be consistent with the Limited Warranty, but the warranty period will last only for a 90-day period beginning on the date of service completion.

So, What Isn't Covered Then?

If someone other than the authorized Quick Garage Door Services franchisee who performed the original service works on any new or repaired part covered by this warranty, then that part and the labor to repair or replace that part is no longer covered under this warranty. For new garage door installations, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty for the details of what is not covered under its warranty.

Additionally, this warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than the authorized Quick Garage Door Services franchisee who issued this warranty. Moreover, this warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property resulting from a garage door that did not operate properly. However, please note that some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty excludes problems caused by abuse, misuse, civil disturbance, or Acts of God.

Application of State Law

This warranty provides you with particular legal rights, and you may have additional rights that differ from state to state.

Here are some major reasons to hire a professional to repair your garage door:

• Safety: Garage doors are heavy and can be dangerous to work on without proper training and equipment. Professional technicians have the knowledge and tools to safely repair the door without causing harm to themselves or others.

• Experience: Professional garage door technicians have years of experience working with different types of doors and repair issues. They can quickly diagnose the problem and provide an effective solution.

• Time and Convenience: Repairing a garage door can be time-consuming, especially if you don’t have the necessary experience or tools. Hiring a professional saves you time and hassle, allowing you to focus on other things while the repair is being done.

• Quality Parts: Professional garage door companies use high-quality parts that are designed to last longer and function better than cheaper, generic parts that you might find at a hardware store.

• Preventative Maintenance: Professional technicians can also perform routine maintenance on your garage door to prevent future problems and extend the life of the door. This can save you money in the long run by avoiding costly repairs or premature replacement.

There are several potential factors that could be contributing to this problem. Firstly, check whether there is anything obstructing the sensor located towards the bottom of the garage door. If there is nothing blocking it, inspect both sides of the door and the tracks towards the floor to locate the two LED lights. Are either of these lights blinking or not illuminated at all? If so, the safety sensors require adjustment. This issue can be easily resolved by tilting or turning the sensor until the light is solid and then testing the door again. If neither of these solutions resolves the problem, please contact us for assistance, and we will address the issue.

Inspect the wall button’s LED light to see if it is flashing. A blinking light could indicate that either the lock button has been activated, or the remote needs reprogramming. To unlock, hold down the lock button for three to five seconds, then attempt to use the remote again. If there is no lock button, the remote needs reprogramming. In the event of sporadic success, a deteriorating circuit board might be the cause. If the light is not blinking, consider replacing the battery in the remote.

The process of programming your garage door opener varies depending on the brand. LiftMaster, Genie, and Marantec are some of the most commonly used brands.

To program a LiftMaster opener, locate the learn button on the back or side of the opener and press it like a doorbell. Next, press the button on the remote you want to program to the opener. You should hear a click, or if there is a light on the opener, it will flash. Your remote should now be programmed.

For a Genie opener, the learn button is usually located in front of the opener and behind the light lens cover. Press the button like a doorbell and the small red LED light will start blinking. Press the button you want to program to the opener and the light should stop blinking and remain lit. Press the remote button again and the light should turn off. Try using your remote now, and it should work.

For Marantec (PDS), connect two remotes together using the provided programming connector. Press and hold down the remote that is already coded to the opener while simultaneously pressing the desired button to be programmed until the light stops flashing (a couple of seconds). When the flashing changes to a solid red light, the remote is programmed and ready to use.

If your garage door suddenly stopped working after a loud noise, it is possible that a spring has broken. Contact us to schedule a prompt inspection of your garage door. Our skilled technician will replace the broken spring and ensure that the garage door is safe and operational. It is advisable to replace both springs if one of them has broken to avoid future problems.

Torsion springs are not available for purchase at regular home improvement stores. These components are exclusively sold to professionals who have received appropriate training to avoid unnecessary injuries and repairs. It is recommended that you contact a skilled garage door repair specialist to fix any broken springs.

Several factors could be causing the problem. First, ensure that the door opener is plugged into an electrical outlet. If the opener still doesn’t work, test the outlet’s power by trying the opener in another outlet using an extension cord if necessary. If both outlets have power and the opener still doesn’t work, then the opener may have a mechanical or electrical malfunction. Our skilled technician can come to your location on the same day to diagnose and fix the issue.

If your garage door is not closing all the way and reverses at the bottom or shortly after starting to move, it’s likely that the electric “safety eyes” are causing the problem. These safety eyes project an invisible beam or sensor across the door opening and are designed to detect any obstacles in the way of the door. If the eyes are out of alignment, they may work sporadically. Our team of technicians can diagnose and fix this issue, or determine if there is another reason for your garage door not working properly. Please contact us for assistance or to schedule an appointment for on-site evaluation.

Absolutely. Our team can promptly diagnose the reason for the noise and provide solutions to fix it. This may involve replacing certain parts or performing maintenance. We also offer ultra-quiet door openers and ball bearing rollers to ensure your garage door operates as silently as possible. Rest assured that with our services, you’ll have the most serene and noise-free garage door in the neighborhood.
